Well I was messing around with my cymbals and I decided to make a video with my new invention, lol. That 20″ HiHat is made up of a 20″ A Medium Thin Crash over a 20″ A Crash Ride. I managed to get a rather big, washy sound. Not such a bad sound, but not a musical cymbal either, lol. :D

My cymbal setup in this video is the following:

- 20″ A Hihat (A Medium Thin Crash over A Crash Ride)
- 21″ A Sweet Ride, Brilliant
- 24″ K Light Ride

I also made this video for everyone to listen to my big K Light Ride.

I’ll be testing more cymbals so let me know if you want something in special. Check out my channel! All my cymbals are listed there.

What musical instruments are typically used in primary school music classrooms throughout Australia?

Do they vary by state at all?

Quite plainly a nice long list or a link to one would be great thanks.

(Some examples, tamborine, recorder, piano keyboard, guitar, shakers, cymbals…)

Thanks all and peace be with you.

Anybody at all please?
Anone at all?

There is a lot of variability, not only from state to state but from school to school. Much depends on the affluence of the parents of the students in the school. A safe bet, though, is the recorder, (for primary schools). Although you will find that many primary schools will have the percussion instruments that you mention (triangle, tambourine, cymbals etc).
High schools usually have a bigger budget and more instruments. Contact local schools to find out more.
