Is it difficult to learn to play the violin? I have had no musical experience at all.?
I want to play the violin, but I’m afraid that I won’t learn very well because I have not had any musical experience at all. The violin really relaxes me and I would really like to play it. Any suggestions?
its okay, violin is my first instrument too thus i have no experience in music whatsoever before i started it.
the main thing is, you have to have passion for it. because violin is among the hardest instrument to learn hence it takes a long time and determination just to sound ‘good’ at it. i suggest you find a really good but affordable teacher in town to start off with.
since you want to start taking lesson on violin, then you have to be commited and practice regularly and always give up on whatever things that aren’t necessary for your music.
don’t be overly-too critical on yourself when first starting out. violin takes time because you have to get use to the posture and everything. don’t give up, etc. learning music is for the entire lifetime. you can never quit.
and, don’t opt for proffesional violin in the first year playing. buying the regular student violin would do. you need more money on other things, like the maintenaince of the strings,bow etc.
